I saw this challenge on The Haunted Wordsmith blog, and am deciding to give it a go. The challenge is to answer eight questions and nominate two other bloggers. I will not be as restrictive and anyone can participate.
Questions & My Answers:
I. Name a moment in your life when you felt you were most courageous.
Such moments probably come when I am beginning something new in my life, for example, a job, or when I am moving to live in another country.
II. If you had to choose only one breakfast cereal for the rest of your life, which one would it be?
Currently, I eat Kellogg’s cereals for breakfast, that claim to be healthy and without palm oil. This is not an advertisement, but just to say that they have many nutty options, so I will probably choose to stay healthy with nuts and honey, rather than go for something really tasty and fruity.
III. When have you felt the most scared?
I cannot recall this at this moment.
IV. If you could sing like any musical artist, who would you choose?
I probably would not want to sing or be a singer. With a truly great voice may come the responsibility to share it with the world. Whitney Houston had an amazing voice.
V. Do you collect anything?
Not really, but I have a weakness for old maps of all sorts. I guess I have too many fascinating reproductions of those. Ancient or maps from the Middle Ages are particularly fascinating because we have this glimpse of how people viewed the world back then.
VI. If you could live inside a TV show or movie, what would it be?
That is a difficult question, but it would have been interesting to experience Lynchian universe first-hand. Some films of David Lynch are very peculiar and unsettling. They have dream-like settings and unexpected turns. There are mystical powers at play, but sometimes the triggers and appearances are almost too subtle. Lynch’s talent for combining the mundane with the macabre is second to none. Therefore, it would be nice to live in that environment for a change, where one’s subconscious projects itself in real life.
VII. Have you ever had a reoccurring dream? If so, what was it?
Since my childhood I sometimes have this dream of looking at myself in the mirror. It is kind of frightening when it happens in a dream because the reflection may not be accurate. I am not some kind of a compulsive mirror-looking person in real life, so I do not know what it all means.
VIII. What is your Zodiac sign?
Scorpio, and yes, most of the general information/description you find on Scorpios online corresponds to who I am.
